The One Swine Flu Fact You Need to Know Today

Hello angels,

It’s been a real pleasure to hear from so many of you. Thank you so much. I really appreciate the positive feed back.

A lot has been going on in the world of wellness.

From how we think about ourselves, to what food we put into our bodies, from healers to the latest in science and medicine.

I know a lot of people are concerned and afraid of the swine flu. It’s obvious that we need to be careful and stay safe.

And like I mentioned before in my anti-aging blog post, we need to eat healthy food and live healthy lifestyles too.

This is because sadly, many of us aren’t as we don’t realize some of the hidden dangers contained in what we put into our bodies.

We should start to view our refrigerators and cabinets more closely as our first tools for achieving optimum health.

And then there are also easy preventive measures.

For instance, the Center for Disease Control recommends using tissues to cover your mouth when sneezing or coughing.

It also recommends washing your hands, especially after touching things like door handles or computers.

These are real germ magnets.

But such preventive measures aren’t the only ones. There are other very important consciousness-based ones we hardly hear about from organizations like the CDC.

Thing is, we also need to be careful to align ourselves with the truth, and not what the media tries to make us focus on.

The World Health Organization (WHO) says that approximately 35,000 people around the world die each year of the normal flu.

Yes, the normal flu.

Now, compare that big figure of deaths with the much smaller one caused by swine flu so far. The last time I checked, swine flu has been responsible for less than 200 deaths.

My point?

While it’s important to be careful, especially in the areas of outbreak, it’s also important not to make ourselves sick with fear or worry.

freejumping

Fear, worry, and stress take a gradual, but great toll on our health. Let’s avoid them.

On top of that, let us also remember that we can send healing thoughts out to the world together and create a world devoted to holism.

After all, it’s the way we are thinking that keeps us well.

Thoughts are powerful. Thoughts create reality. They translate into actions. Thoughts create energy, so let us all nurture the right ones.

Let’s raise our collective consciousness.

Meanwhile, what health issues are YOU struggling with right now?

Please leave your questions in the comments section and I’ll try to answer them as best as I can. :)

All Love and Eternal Gratitude,
Angelique

PS — Stay tuned for more upcoming blog posts as I begin sharing tips on how you can make healthy nutrition, positive thoughts, and healing energy converge together to achieve better well being in your life.

last summer I was at my wits end with lower back pain
caused by incessant inflamation. i did discover a system that reestablish the lower magnetic frequency to my body.
I have been using it since september and I am getting better and better.
I feel more like my old self again. I had been thinking “there must be a way to get out of this circle of pain without drugs” then, it was presented to me.
It make sense now. The system is called MRS comes from Germany, you could say it is pricey but to me it was a no brainer. spend money and smile whitout the pain. just thought I tell you,it might be the help someone needs.
    keep well,LCS

Our biggest health problems come from two sources: The lack of control by the FDA– food and drug administration, and the big Pharmaceutical companies.

Let’s control these two and the flu will not seem like such a big concern.

Many Doctors are bought out by the pharma companies. First they are trained and educated with money donated by the drug companies and then they are enticed with trips, gifts of all sorts, money etc. They are awarded for prescribing the drugs being promoted. Doctors have become overly influenced by these companies.

The practice of doling out all these gifts must come to an end. The advertising of drugs should not be allowed. They could save a lot on advertising, and use that money to lower the price of drugs. Doctors are no longer what they used to be. They attend drug seminars and are trained to look up what is available for the latest illness in a catalog of drugs. Most know little about nutrition except the homeopathic, Chinese medicine, and doctors studying and practicing natural cures and medicines.

There are many good, well meaning doctors and they serve their patients well, but many more have been influenced by the drug companies. You can’t blame the doctors. There are so many different drugs and new ones added all the time. They cannot keep up on studying the drugs. They depend on the ones who make them. These doctors have become drug dealers of legal drugs that are making people more sick, more dependent on the drugs, and many are suffering terribly because of the drugs. We hear cases of people suffering or dying due to the drugs all the time.

Next,I believe that the FDA needs to be revamped, overhauled and controlled, so that they will do their job of protecting the people. There is no control of the additives, preservatives and dyes such as MSG, Corn syrup, sugars of all types, and the list goes on. The food companies do all they can to preserve the food longer on the shelves by adding preservatives, they add color to make food look more appealing, and flavor additives to make it taste better, all having negative affects on our health. It has become almost impossible for the average person to protect them self. The names of additives and preservatives are being changed to get around the rules. We need, more than anything else, to get help from the FDA. It is not doing enough. President Obama should jump on the FDA NOW!

The food producers are adding dangerous junk to our food, and then the drug companies come along like ambulance chasers and push their quite often dangerous drugs on us.

That is our biggest health problem and if not controlled it will never get solved, it will only get worse. People will get fatter, undernourished, and over-fed and we will be one sick society. Acutally, we are there now.

I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism nearly 20 years ago. I was fortunate to be led to a wonderful doctor who switched me to a natural thyroid replacement–Armour Thyroid–after only one year of being on a synthetic drug. I’ve done very well on it but there must be a way to get off of prescription drugs. Do you have any recommendations? Thanks so much.

    Angelique’s response–
    Dear @Msailer,
Thank you so much for joining us here. I appreciate you comment and I am just curious. Why don’t you ask your doctor? Then please share with us what he advises for those who might be interested. I am sorry I personally don’t have advice here, but I do know this is important.
I would like to take the opportunity here as well to let you and everyone know, I am not a doctor. Here on the Healers Way we try to provide informative articles and everything we can get our hands on, about healing and healers, higher consciousness living, positivity, living the field. (You all know I am a huge fan of Lynne McTaggart’s work.) But in no way is this site a substitute for going to seek a professional for help, whether in the Western or Eastern medical field, Holistic, or Chinese. I cannot prescribe medicine. I am happy to share opinions or information about something I do know more about.
I am sorry in this specific situation I can’t offer any recommendations.
But I am also happy to leave your comment here in case there is someone, or a doctor out there that has some insight for you. I am happy to build this website together with the collective “All” as we gather the conscious community and empower ourselves with knowledge.
Again it will be your responsibility to decide what the best course of action is for yourself. I am sending you good energy and I am sure others reading this are as well.
All love and eternal gratitude for you–

No matter what the problem is, be it Swine Flu fact or any thing else. Forget about body condition and first step is to think positively that I am healthy. What you think you become. I used to have back ache for more than 40 years and dry skin problem 30 years, BPH 5 years, total hearing loss for 5 years and Food allergies 25 years. After reading many mind power books, I stopped taking pain killers, I never took any thing for BPH. I am drinking four 160 ml. glasses of water empty stomach and do not eat anything for 45 minutes. I am taking Turmeric (Yellow Indian Spice) powder half a spoon with water twice. My back ache as well as dry skin problem became history for last six years. Fruit and vegetable juices and salad is healthy habit for me. I have to take anti-histamine only when I have food allergy problem. Have trust in our self and full faith in God (or Nature, Spirit, creator of this universe, you prefer) for success be it health or anything else.

    Hi Rajni,
Thank you so much for sharing this information! I too believe in the necessity for us all to learn what foods are working for and against us. Many people have food allergies they aren’t even aware of. Food, herbs, supplements all have a vital part in feeding the temple of our bodies. It truly amazes me that while we have evolved so far in technology, we live in a time where we are so fortunate choose what to put into our bodies, but that many of the choices aren’t good. Foods with preservatives, aspartame, hydrogenated oils, high fructose corn syrup etc…We are so lucky here in America and fortunate to have some incredible food here. But a lot of the food supply just isn’t good. Shouldn’t all our food be good and making us well? Shouldn’t our food supply be healthy and not making us sick or obese? Why are the corporations messing with our food? Why is food being genetically modified when they don’t fully know the repercussions. Let alone if it will nourish us properly? It’s possible the pesticides in the food here are responsible for the obesity crisis here in the US.
I will share with you, that I was blessed to live in Spain the last four years on a special little island that had many farms. Much of the produce came from those farms. And after being back in America now for only a couple of months, I do feel like I notice a difference. I wish we would all join together and demand our food supply be good for us and not about the bottom line.
People in power are not protecting our health. And preventative medicine is one of the best! It’s a crime when you have to be rich to be able to afford to eat healthy.
In the meantime, thinking positive and putting good intention into what we put into our bodies is one thing I do. After reading Masaru Emoto’s books, I really believe it’s a good idea to tell your water how wonderful it is, how grateful you are for it, and that it’s going to send healing beads of light all over your body! And since there is water in much of our food as well, why not be safe and intention your food to heal you and keep you healthy as well. After all, water has the most intimate relationship with your body if you think about it!
Sorry, I could go on and on, but for now I must respond to some more comments. Again, many thanks.
    All love and eternal gratitude–
    Angelique

    Hi,

I enjoyed your article as it resonates with what I have been feeling about the Swine Flu. I had been wondering how many people die from Ordinary Flu each year and so you’ve cleared that up for me.

With pain and illness, sometimes we can heal ourselves and sometimes the pain and illness are part of our life’s learning. As a healer it has been most useful to reflect on a somewhat difficult and painful life in all areas. Without these experiences I might be less patient with people’s illnesses and fears.

After reading “A Swan In Heaven” I’ve come to understand that a life lived in a crippled body is a choice of some and has its usefulness.

Whilst we can change much by having a positive outlook we sometimes cannot escape all our pain and discomfort. We are here to learn how to become more spiritual and how we achieve that is entirely up to us…

Thank you for a most timely article. Fear is to be avoided — We need to live in LOVE.

    Hi Angelique,

Thank you for your article. you are right about everything you said in it. Being careful is a good approach. Being fearful and worried only escalate our conditions. The Media plays a big role in trying to scare everybody on this planet, instead of just giving us the data we need to know. Our thoughts and attitudes establish we feel. The things we concentrate on — expand.

Thank you so much for a much needed kick in the pants!! ;) You are right!! We do need to think more about the choices we put into our body.….and you are more doubly right about not choosing to allow fear to make us sick!!

Thank you so much for sharing such a GREAT and much needed post!!

The Swine Flu… Well My house mate was one of the few who tested positive in London, to witness the media cause panic and worry was awful… It really opened my eyes to the way the world works. I’m glad to say that the other 4 in the house didn’t contract it. I think this is in part due to, as you say, Knowing the Truth… Also leading a positive and healthy lifestyle, eating a diet that is at least 60% raw all added up to protection…

The group mentality witnessed in the world really upset me and i for one feel change is much need and is on its way…

What you are doing and what you are part of here angelique is so amazing and positive.. a pleasure to read.

Enjoyed your article on swine flu. Unfortunately, we do live in a fear based society. I am just now making some progress on detaching myself from the collective consciousness of fear, and it has been a long hard struggle. The answers are simple once u begin to understand that their is indeed a universal life force and all of our problems are created by us, by
creating blockages in our minds & bodies, that shuts down or distorts that life force. I believe we would be amazed if we could live our full potential, we would think we were super humans compared to the way most of us are now.
    Thanks!

I agree in the power of God and positive thinking to heal. I can literally become very ill physically when under emotional stress. I have type 2 diabetes, mild hypertension, low thyroid, fibromyalgia, degenerative arthritis etc! I find that every single one of my illnesses denerates when I am under the influence of negativity and stress. I try to eat healthy, but fresh foods are very expensive and do not last long. I do not want to have to go to the market daily. I wonder why the markets do not deliver any longer. I would gladly pay for this service to keep from having to endure all the germs and stress of trying to find good quality ‚inexpensive, healthy food.
    Blessings for your work,

Behind the outbreak of swine flu are the same people who caused the financial and economic crisis according to me. They want us to live in constant fear and later to accept their proposal of the solution of the crisis. With every crisis we have less freedom and we have less.
I bet that that their next move will be mandatory vaccination against the new flu.The vaccine will be ready in June. And we all know what this means, more money for big Pharma and many deaths and illnesses because of the side effects of vacciantion.
So take care of your health; try to eat organically grown vegetables and fruit, also meat , prepair your meals at home ‚avoid all prepared food that is full of trans fats, additives, fillers .. Remember that the interest of big Pharma and fitofarmacevtical companies is to have mall nourished and sick population in order to be able to sell drugs and make profit. Their preferred illnesses are
diabetes, heart desease, obesity which are treatable without drugs.
So when you hear about new cases of the new virus, think and
    don’t get panicked.

I am hyperaldosterone ( Heard of that one? ), I also have hepatitus C ( Thanks to the army and their “air gun” injections ) & I have rheumatiod arthritus. I am currently on 13 drugs , including morphine. Hypnosis has helped me to reduce the morphine, but I know that I have several other problems that are caused by the other drugs. Any ideas?
My body and mind are strong and I am doing much better than other people I know with “just” the hep C.

One thing I can say about illness is that the answer to healing is inside of you when you connect to your higher self. That has always worked for me, especially when I was very very sick years ago and could not afford traditional medicine. I do not worry about illness at all. It took a little time to learn the language of my body but once I did I know exactly what to do to make myself better. You should never give up your power to anyone, whether it is a spiritual entity or a person or doctor sitting next to you. Always consult your higher self first through meditation.

    Hi Junior,
In case you didn’t understand, my article was not about where the flu or swine flu comes from. Be it the government or nature, washing your hands, tissue and avoiding areas of outbreak are a good idea to take preventative measures. Along with keeping a positive train of thought. I hope we can all work together to effect the change needed to make things like war obsolete!
    Thanks for stopping by!

    Hi,
I very much enjoyed your article, and found it very inspiring, as well as all the comments I read. I wanted to add that all the cases of death from swine flu have been people with chronic illnesses, specifically diabetes, overweight, respiratory diseases related to smoking and other immunodeficiency illnesses, ie. aids (in that order). All these illnesses rule out many of us, and most of humankind, and lead us to consider the importance of simply keeping healthy, which we have to do in any case since there are more deaths related to common flu per year and even car or labour accidents!!!
I agree with Angelique in that its very difficult to find good food in the US, I too lived in Europe and its lovely to go to the local markets and buy local, fresh food from a small farm. I would like us to encourage that kind of lifestyle much more, and slowly turn to small scale possibilities in all aspects, smaller houses, smaller cars, smaller towns… why accumulate? In long run, all these aspects contribute more to health than we think, since they also imply more stress, fear and worries… which bring down our immune system… think about it! Regards, Mérida

I had the flu 4 days. With barfing and pooping yellow stuff. Don’t know if it was swine flu. We were traveling out of town in our trailer. We are ok now and back home. Still it was unlike any other flu I’ve had. Bob had a flu shot. He got flu symptoms 1 day after me. We were careful to wash our hands faithfully, however we ate out quite a bit. I never got a high fever or cough, and it’s too late to get tested. I even used some healing cds I had, didn’t seem to help.

My mother (who is in her 60’s) has been having knee/leg stiffness. Hence, she can’t walk quickly nor for long, nor can she squat.

I asked her to try taking chondroitin. After taking twice only, she feels her legs are less stiff and more flexible.

Praise God! I guess medicines/supplements etc do help and this will help one to be more positive in outlook/thinking.

About this ‘swine’ flu. It is sad that piggies are getting the blame. If only more humans treated all animals (and the environment) better, there won’t be such diseases like mad cow, swine/bird flu, mercury fish and some other disease blamed on an animal.

I find this book by Louise L Hay (Heal Your Body), published by Hay House Inc, to be quite helpful.

Louise has positive affirmations for physical illnesses from A-Z (like aids, diabetes, hepatitis etc) and how to overcome them with positive affirmations.

I hope the readers will find this useful.

Nice article. Let me say that I live in Mexico City and I lived in Taiwan when there was the SARS epidemy too. I never was “Oh, its going to hit me, Im going to get infected, I wanna fly to my country”. Hygiene measures is all that matter, and the positive attitude that we must take precautions but not to be worried or living on fear. I think that the biggest pandemy was the media spread of fear and worry. Lets stay positive, lets keep being careful, but most of all, lets to get rid of fear to come to Mexico. All people around the world is welcome to my country, to visit the beautiful beaches and nice Colonial or Archeological Sites.

My comment is this:” Do you think that you can get something from someone?…The answer is NO. You can get only something what you have inside of you…what that’s mean. Your tought’s and fear attract it to your life, I think so that if you have faith that you are health, you can be around people who has worst sikness and you will not get it…Example was mother Teresa. Everything comes from inside because you lost balance…thats sikness. But if you are in balance then you can not be sick.“Aniway I like people who takes care about themselvs and have good hygiene, it is not only because of health, you feel better being around that person.…

I have cervical & lumbar Radiculapathy due to spinal compression. It causes multiple muscle spams all over my back,
the side of my head, my arms , primarily on my left side although lately it has started spreading to my right side.
The disease is chronic & regenerative. Every month I have to see a Pain specialist & I take serious pain medicine & muscle relaxers(for the spasms). So far , fro the most part I can function at a normal level, although from my oint of view I lost alot of strength & can no longer do many of the things I took for granted: ie opening jars, running, yoga (which I have done for 20 years). Many people look at me & say I am in good shape & I am, but not by my standards. If I had not been so active & athletic throughout my life I shudder to think how bad my physical body would be now.
There are occasions when I need a cane, and this breaks my heart. But I try to maintain a positive attitude, although pain can really break your spirit, if you let it.
It is a constant battle to keep a positive attitude & get up every day & live my life the best I can.

I am an equine chiropractor and I also dabble in trigger point therapy and Bach flowers. I just feel like there is more that I can be doing. I was very much interested in Qi-sagge. Can that be used for horses? Do you have another energy healing technique that would be better for horses?

      Hi Maria,
I am sorry but I can’t give you an expert opinion on the matter. But I can give you my thoughts. I believe all living things are energy. So, since energy healing works on human’s, I also believe the same would apply to animals. I often do work on my beloved Chihuahua, Diva. She has a heart condition and is much improved since I work on her with several modalities I work with. Hope this helps.
      Thanks for stopping by!
      All love and eternal gratitude–
      Angelique
